The Tanzanian government is planning a road through the Serengeti despite protests from scientists, conservationists, and tourism companies. Opponents warn that the road bisecting the ecosystem will imperil the Serengeti’s renowned migration.

German NGO NABU has started an international petition to convince the Tanzanian government to opt for an alternative route that would skip the Serengeti altogether, thereby preserving one of the world’s greatest migrations and ecosystems : Justice for Tanzania means no Serengeti highway.
